My wife Bev had an awesome vision for the new bathroom and John and his team turned her vision into a reality. The end result exceeded our expectations. I contacted John about my chimney needing some work. I was on a slight time crunch as our roof was being replaced in a matter of a few weeks. John came to our place to assess the job and gave me a quote. After we agreed John showed up the day he said he would be there. He made the whole experience hassle free for me, he retrieved all the materials needed and kept in close communication during the project. He drove to many different stores to get the best price on the materials needed and through his determination he even secured a cap for the chimney free of charge! The chimney looks brand new and my wife and I are very pleased with the results. The price was fair and in line with the quality of work that was done. Would recommend John to anyone.

He had to cancel due to injury, and at the 11th hour, Down Home Contracting stepped in to save the day, and prevent the closing being delayed. Quality work comes at a price, and that's fine with me. John has a wealth of knowledge for home projects. He put together some woodwork that goes nicely in our laundry room, and he did a shoe storage rack for us as well. Attention to detail is important to me, and it is for John too. He puts out a quality product!
